Matt Phillips is an Executive Director in the Digital Experience Design Group at J.P. Morgan. He currently heads Design for Markets Operations Transformation, where his team apply an AI-first approach to reinventing the tools and workflows utilised by back office teams. Trained as an Industrial Designer, he has over two decades of experience delivering employee-facing digital tools on projects ranging from intranets to trading applications, collaborating with clients from startups to global corporations. Beyond his commercial work, he has also shared his expertise by teaching design at both the American University of Paris and Ravensbourne University in London.
