Matt McCurdy is a User Researcher at Microsoft (contracted through Steyer Content) where he works in the Mixed Reality division gathering user insights and elevating the user perspective to stakeholders. He has a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago where he developed a framework for maximizing the effectiveness of different learning strategies for younger and older adults. He lives in Seattle, WA with his wife and dog where they enjoy kayaking, watching baseball, and getting out of the city to travel the world and experience other cultures.
