Katrina Alcorn is General Manager of Design, IBM, responsible for leading one of the largest design and design thinking practices in the world. IBM’s 3,000+ designers create software, hardware, brand, and web experiences used by millions worldwide.

Before joining IBM in 2021, Katrina spent 20 years leading strategic design initiatives for Fortune 500s, startups, and non-profits in high-tech, energy, and health care. She is also the author of an award-winning book, “Maxed Out: American Moms on the Brink,” about the challenges mothers face in the workplace, and she’s an advocate for workplace culture that supports the reality of modern-day families.
