Chris Yu (he/him) is a first-generation Chinese American that believes design and technology should empower people. He is currently the Head of Design at Arista Network’s security division, where he leads a globally distributed team of designers, researchers, and writers across all of our security products. Together they are shaping the future of cybersecurity and network management. Previously Chris was at Bank of America’s cybersecurity organization where he lead the design of their internal policy compliance tools and governance processes.
Outside of his professional pursuits, he is also deeply committed to mentorship, particularly for underrepresented groups in tech. Chris believes that access to education and professional development opportunities should be available to all and he makes it a priority to spend his free time mentoring professionals looking to advance in their careers.
