Our Conference Schedule Policy

The activities for ConveyUX begin at 9:00am Tuesday morning and end at 1:00pm Thursday. We pride ourselves on providing great topics and top speakers through to the final adjournment. We don’t shortchange the latter portion of the event. If you are able to arrange to stay for the full conference, you will not be disappointed!

Travel Tips

Here are some notes to help with your trip to Seattle:

Air Travel & Local Transportation

The Seattle International Airport (SEA) is called SeaTac.

A convenient and inexpensive connection from airport to Seattle is via the Link light rail. These trains run every fifteen minutes throughout the day and it is a 45-minute journey. You avoid rush hour traffic and the last stop (Westlake) is just two blocks from the Motif. You can purchase your ticket at the station which is accessible from the terminal by a covered walk-way. 

A taxi will cost about $30-40 depending on the time of day. Rush hour traffic can be tough. But in the middle of the day, a cab is the quickest way to go. The airport is also serviced by Shuttle Express. Parking at the hotel is $31 a day for overnight guests and the day rate is $21. Ample public parking is available in the area surrounding the hotel. The best deals often require getting to the lot before 8am.

Home-bound tip: All security gates at SeaTac get you into the same common area. The line can be long at one and short at another. TSA Pre-check is only at the south end of the terminal building. 

Parking

The Motif Seattle Hotel has parking. However, it can be quite expensive for all. There are many lots in the surrounding area. Typically, you can get a significantly reduced rate by arriving before 8am at many lots. Parkopedia is a free website that lists all the publicly available parking lots and garages and also provides information about street parking.
