Michael Gough

Michael is the Chief Design Officer for the Applications and Services group (ASG) with responsibility for design coherence across ASG experiences including Office application and services. He believes technology should adapt to the people it serves, building a new relationship with computing by bringing experiences designed to foster people’s creativity and high-order thinking. Michael Gough is a widely recognized design evangelist and advocate for the next generation of creativity. He has been pushing the envelope with disruptive design work and technology innovation for 20 years. Gough joined Microsoft in February 2015 from Adobe Systems Inc. where he served as vice president of experience design leading its multidisciplinary experience creation organization Adobe XD. His responsibilities included leading the design of individual products, cross-product experiences, and the creation of next-generation products and services.
