Melissa Hammersley is co-founder and Chief Design Officer of Novel Effect, an industry leader applying voice technology to elevate storytelling—books, television, video, and more—by enabling voice-driven experiences audiences love. Melissa leads Novel Effect’s award-winning product strategy, innovation, and creative direction.
A SCAD educated graphic designer, she previously spent over 10 years as the owner of a patent illustration firm and is now a patent holder herself. Melissa lives in Seattle with her husband and two children where they spend the summers berry picking and the falls rooting for the Clemson Tigers.
