Jessica Cao

UCLA Design|Media Arts is a program that embraces creating experimental media work in the context of a metropolitan research university. So far, I’ve taken foundation classes on Typography but also in 3D motion graphics and was introduced to Javascript in an Interactivity class this quarter. Pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed programming, I’m now trying to learn more about the UI/UX field and improve my skills. My work aims to raise awareness about undocumented students, sexual assault/consent, and LGBTQ rights. When I’m not in school, I love traveling and was privileged enough to spend a year in Germany after graduating from high school.
