Shell Little is an Accessibility Specialist at Wells Fargo on their Customer Insights and Experience Design team. As an Accessibility and NVDA Subject Matter Expert, Shell’s role shifts between advocating for persons with disabilities and helping Wells Fargo accomplish its goal to be the most accessible bank in America. She is passionate about implementing Usability for all abilities through User Centered Design. Shell regularly works with her colleagues and past professors to shape higher education for upcoming A11yers and mentor young professionals entering the field. Prior to working at Wells Fargo she worked within Michigan State University’s Digital Content and Accessibility team ensuring the software purchased by the University was accessible for their employees, students, and faculty. Shell earned a Bachelors of Arts in Experience Architecture, the first User Experience Design program if its kind, from Michigan State University. Outside the office, Shell is a proud animal parent to a large menagerie, an active member of the LGBTQ community, outdoor enthusiast, and a self-proclaimed nerd.
