Rebecca Destello is a Senior UX Research Manager at Meta, where she leads teams in innovating experiences for Meta’s developer products. A seasoned research leader and mentor, Rebecca has expertise in building teams that drive strategy and improve user experiences. With nearly 20 years of experience leading research in diverse problem spaces – including healthcare, government, e-commerce, startups, and social media – she brings a wealth of knowledge to her work.

As an Affiliate Faculty member at the University of Washington’s Human Centered Design & Engineering department, Rebecca has taught graduate students in user-centered design, design thinking, usability testing, and web design since 2012. Her contributions to the field of user experience have been recognized with the UX Community Leadership Award from UXPA Seattle, Puget Sound SIGCHI, and UX Happy Hour for her service to the Seattle user experience community, as well as the Myron L. White award from the University of Washington’s Human Centered Design & Engineering program for her leadership in the field of user experience and commitment to her students and colleagues.
