Amy has over 20 years of experience in UX at Microsoft, including various leadership roles across different business areas. She has a strong background in Content Design and helped pioneer “UI text writing” at Microsoft. Amy currently serves as Chief of Staff within the Microsoft Security UX organization. Prior to this role she served as Content Experience Director—both in the Cloud + AI division and earlier in the Experiences + Devices division. Earlier in her career, she was the UX Director for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM business. Amy is a Microsoft boomerang; mid-career she spent a couple of years at Google leading a Technical Writing team supporting a wide variety of products and services. In Amy’s own words: “End user empathy is a core part of my DNA, with a focus on simplicity and coherence, following an “It Just Works” mantra.”
