Amy Jiménez Márquez is a design leader with over 20 years of experience in UX, information architecture, and product design. She is currently VP of Product Design at Zillow, where she leads the Professionals Experience design organization, helping build tools that support real estate professionals nationwide.

Previously, she led the Alexa Personality Design team at Amazon, shaping Alexa’s conversational style and bringing new voices and personas to life. 

Amy has built and led cross-functional design teams across product design, UX research, content strategy, service design, information architecture, and VUI. She’s known for her empathetic leadership, strong mentorship, and commitment to creating inclusive, psychologically safe environments.

She also operates Boxes and Arrows, one of the longest running online UX publications, and taught Information Architecture at the Seattle School of Visual Concepts. Amy is also the executive sponsor of her company’s Latine employee resource group and mentors women from underrepresented backgrounds in tech.
