Amanda Varney has spent the last 5+ years as a UX Research and Strategy leader. She formally got into user experience as a bridge between a small UX team and larger QA team. She then quickly transitioned into leading the efforts to build out the research team from the ground up to meet organizational needs. In her current role, she’s once again tackling standing up a research practice with a new team in a new organization. Like many uxers, she has a varied background but has always followed the thread of experience and is forever interested in the connection between people and the technology we use.
