Wireframing Is a Team Sport
We all have opinions about who is responsible for creating wireframes. Some say PMs should, some say they’re only for designers. And what about developers? But what if the question isn’t who should wireframe, but what and how they should wireframe.
We talk about breaking down silos, yet each role proudly uses different tools and techniques for their specialized work. In this talk you’ll learn how PMs, designers, and even developers can each use wireframes in different ways to achieve their own objectives, as well as create transitional wireframe artifacts that facilitate handoff from one phase to another. You’ll also learn common pitfalls and how to manage the idea of distributed responsibility for the “design” of the product.
