Bringing UX into Agile can be difficult. UX’ers are pressured into handing off work within 2-week sprints. In that time, they have to create, test, refine and deliver output based on business needs and ensure the shippable product meets UX standards. While there is no exact “point by point” way to make Agile ‘completely’ UX friendly, there are several ways to integrate UX to ensure it thrives within this fast paced development methodology. After working on a Agile project for six months at a large Fortune 500 company, I will share how several design studio sessions earned buy-in from client and project leadership, promoted stakeholder involvement and reduce the amount design iterations during sprints.
You Will Learn to:
- Understand the UX pitfalls in Agile how to avoid them in order to make a successful product
- Learn how to use the design studio to get UX buy-in from leadership, invoke collaboration with product/project stakeholders and build rapport with developers
- Advocate the importance of UX to management and leadership for successful UX discovery exercises
