My talk will explore how AI is reshaping the practice of UX design and what it means for leaders guiding teams into the future. I’ll draw on my experience leading design at Amazon Alexa and Zillow to show how moments of disruption, whether technological shifts like conversational AI or market challenges like real estate’s transformation, require resilience in both products and people. 

The talk will focus on how leaders can create environments where designers thrive, adapt, and stay focused on what humans do best: bringing empathy, strategy, and ethical judgment to the work. Attendees will leave with a perspective on AI not as a threat, but as a catalyst for more meaningful, human-centered digital products.
